Timmerman Elementary - First Grade Grading Policy
The mission of Pflugerville ISD is to provide an inspiring, engaging, and relevant education that empowers students to reach their full potential as productive members of a diverse global community. At Timmerman, we empower a community where all learners develop a mindset that creates pathways to future success. Due to the order issued by Governor Gregory Abbott to close all Texas public schools for the remainder of the school year, PfISD has implemented COVID-19 grading guidelines for our final semester/nine week grading period.
Timmerman First Grade assignments will be evaluated using a Pass (P) or Incomplete (I) system. This grading metric will be used based on activities students complete online (i.e. Seesaw) assigned by their teachers, agenda activities, and/or from PfISD paper-based instruction packets returned to the district. Each week an ELA and math grade will be given, and every two weeks, either a science or social studies grade will be taken.
